Our therapists are well trained to professional massage standards, and spend a full year studying anatomy, physiology and advanced massage techniques. Training activities are supported by a network of international volunteer massage tutors and the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage (ISRM) in London.
Seeing Hands does not have a spa-style menu of various therapies. Our focus is on providing quality remedial sports massage, in a professional clinical way. Over 500 guests have written reviews about our services on travel websites and all three clinics have a TripAdvisor ‘Certificate of Excellence’. Facilities are clean and hygienic with proper massage beds and freshly laundered towels. All therapists speak English well and have a detailed understanding of typical muscular and inflammatory conditions and how to treat them. Please note, although health checks are made before starting massage, please remember that our therapists are blind and so are not always aware of obvious visual clues, such as dressings, bandages or walking sticks. It is important to discuss any ongoing conditions with your therapist beforehand, and be aware they may perform some tasks differently.
As we are a social enterprise we have a fixed price policy, but we do offer some discounts for large groups or treatment packages of more than 4 people booked in advance. The clinics are open 7 days a week and advance booking is recommended, especially in high season, and for groups of more than 4 people. For more information see Booking
