Established in 2005, Seeing Hands Nepal is a UK Registered Charity, linked to grassroots NGO the Nepal
Association of the Blind (NAB).
It has a permanent base of trustees in the UK and a base of operations in Pokhara, Nepal, directed
by British founders Rob and Susan Ainley.
About our Trustees and Volunteers
Rob and Susan Ainley share the same passions for Nepal and its people.
In the UK, Rob manages a complementary health centre where he practices Remedial/Sports massage
and Manipulative Therapy. Susan works as a Marketing Executive and coordinates project and
fundraising activities in her spare time.
After spending 8 years coordinating development projects in Cambodia, Project Advisor Kate
Hencher returned to the UK to complete a Masters Degree and now works for the Red Cross.
Director of Overseas Fundraising, Cedric Jeanson is President of Filmbox, a feature film
production company in New York, and although our Treasurer Carole Stephens retired recently,
she is now busier than ever, volunteering for the MS Society as well as SHN.
There are numerous other volunteers who help us to implement training workshops and raise funds.
